This book deeply explains the theory of horology.

The newly introduced points in this book from the existing theory of horology

can be summarized as follows:

- Introducing the explanations of fluid dynamics and gravity, the formula of amplitude

of pendulum and temp was derived. In addition, numerical analysis was also completed.

- The equation of spring torque from the curved beam theory was correctly derived.

- Numerical calculation methodology of Escapement Error by RK 4 (Runge-Kutta method)

which seems to be world first was introduced.

- How to draw the hairspring after distortion and many useful gnuplot sample programs

are also contained.
